How did so much responsibility get into the the hands of so very few people that are all related? Get Alice Thompson removed from the IntlBGA Board!!!!

* RED TEXT - alert that more than one of these family relationships are on the SAME COMMITTEE. Example - there are 7 members on the Bylaws committee and two of them are Alice and her brothers partner. That is nearly 30% of the decisions and actions taken by the Bylaws committee are Alice Thompson and her brother's partner.

05/12/08	From someone that doesn't have the courage to sign their own name.	Your "Chat Room" and Website seem to be very filtered and not exactly an "open forum". Questions: Did anyone consider researching and getting the facts concerning the allegations instead of getting hearsay and only some selected facts from a disgruntled employee? A lot of information is missing. Did anyone review all the Board notes to support the allegations, items and planning discussed and accepted or rejected by the Board? Did anyone consider that the "Office Manager" is hired to run the office and the Associations Board, Committees, Regional Coordinators, Website and members are the repository of experience and knowledge for Boer Goat information, assistance and guidance. Other than hearsay from a disgruntled employee who has very little knowledge or practical experience in the day to day operation of the office, including financials, did anyone research, verify or get actual facts that no business processes or financial review are done in the operation of the office or by the Board? Did anyone consider the numerous times the disgruntled employee has been very un-business like in the office and to office personnel and caused significant issues and problems not related to the job function. In the business world, any one of these would be cause for immediate dismissal. Suggest you may need to put a disclaimer on your intlbga.com website stating that you are the website master and manager of filtered and selected information and opinions.

05/02/08	Texas Member	We were at the last two shows in Greenville TX and Derrie Minyard (IntlBGA President) was present for most of those two shows. I am ashamed to say that I belong to an organization that promotes that type of leadership. It was very apparent that he had a few select that he would associate with and in fact only talked to those few. He never once walked around and greeted the members of whom he is suppose to lead in the position he holds. I also have read much of what people are saying about Alice Thompson her husband and Bobby Watts. I am in full agreement with Al Paul’s email (Al Paul article). At what point in time do our members scream and shout enough that we have some accountability from the directors, the committees and the staff at the International Boer Goat Association office. If we stand by and let this association go under because we have not demanded the things that Al Paul listed in his letter that wasn’t allowed to be printed in the magazine then shame on each and every one of us. I demand a full accountability process be put into place before any votes are made about who should take office next term and if the current directors cannot do that, then they should either step down or be taken out of office before their term ends, in essence immediately! Enough is enough folks, please speak up now!!! Concerned member in Texas
05/01/08	Alabama Member	"I am from AL and have been around Alice (Thompson - IntlBGA director) while getting ready for the 2006 show at Cullman, AL. She was very unpleasant to work with and said some rude things about and to some local inmates that were helping set up for the show. She did almost nothing but took the credit for the show. I wouldn't trust her with anything."
